Developer API Terms

Last updated 2026-10-13. These terms apply in addition to the TokenAnvil Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. What you are buying

A one-time $10 fee gives one API key slot for the TokenAnvil Developer API. Each token created through the API also carries a $2.99 fee, paid on-chain inside the creation transaction. Prices may change for future purchases. Fees are paid on-chain and are not refundable once your key has been created, except where the law requires it or where we fail to deliver the key after a verified payment.

2. Your key

Keep your key secret. You are responsible for all use of it. We store only a keyed hash and cannot show it again. You can rotate or delete it in the portal. We may revoke or suspend a key at any time, with or without notice, if we suspect misuse, abuse, non-payment of the per-token fee, or a violation of these terms; no refund is due in that case.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the API to: create tokens that impersonate another project, person or brand; run scams, rug pulls, phishing or other deception; make false or guaranteed-return claims; violate sanctions, intellectual-property, privacy or other laws; host unlawful content (including intimate images without consent or anything that sexualises minors) through hosted metadata; circumvent rate limits or the per-token fee; probe or disrupt the service. We may refuse names and symbols that match well-known projects.

4. Non-custodial and your responsibility

The API only builds transactions. You review and sign them with your own wallet. We never hold your keys, funds or tokens and cannot reverse a transaction. You are solely responsible for the tokens you create, their metadata, and how you market or distribute them, including compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction. Nothing here is financial, legal or tax advice, and we do not endorse any token.

5. Hosted metadata

We host the images and JSON you submit through the API and serve them publicly. You confirm you have the right to use them. Hosting is best effort and lasts while the service operates; we may remove content that violates these terms. If permanence matters to you, host your own metadata and pass its URL instead. If we discontinue hosting we will give at least 30 days' notice.

6. Limits and availability

Default limits apply per key (600 requests per hour, 25 tokens per day, 100 metadata items per day). The API is provided as is, without uptime guarantees or support commitments. Solana network conditions can delay or fail transactions.

7. Data

We process your wallet address, key usage counts and the content you submit to run the service, prevent abuse and measure usage. See the Privacy Policy.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TokenAnvil is not liable for tokens you create, losses from using or being unable to use the API, third-party networks or wallets, or indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. You will defend and reimburse TokenAnvil for claims arising from your tokens or your use of the API.

9. Eligibility, governing law, changes

You must be at least 18 and not subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA; disputes go to the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California.
